Another doctor falls victim to coronavirus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
PESHAWAR: Another doctor has fallen victim to coronavirus in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Dr Adnan Abdul Haleem, who hailed from Swat, was a third-year student at the Khyber Medical College (KMC) in Peshawar. The Provincial Doctors Association (PDA) said that he had been battling the disease for many days. During his last days, he was put on ventilator in intensive care unit of the KMC.
The PDA demanded from the government to provide the promised compensation to the martyred doctors and other health workers who lost their lives while fighting on frontline against the disease.
A day ago, a doctor passed away after contracting coronavirus, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Secretary Syed Imtiaz Hussain Shah had also contracted the viral infection.
