Another case filed against MPA Nazeer Chohan

LAHORE: Another case has been registered against Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) MPA Nazeer Chauhan at Green Town police station in Lahore on Thursday.
The case was registered on the complaint of SHO Green Town Saghir Ahmed in which different provisions including threats and interference in the government affairs were imposed.
According to the FIR text, on the day of Azad Kashmir elections, Nazeer Chauhan along with the coordinator and 25 unidentified persons came to the polling station where he tried to insult the SHO and force his way into the polling station.
The FIR read that when he was stopped, he gave death threats to the police officials.
Earlier on July 29, a local court in Lahore granted a two-day physical remand to the arrested PTI MPA and handed him over to the FIA.
The FIA had arrested Chohan after he was released from Lahore jail on July 28.
ON July 27, police had arrested the suspect from Race Course area in Lahore. Race Course police station officials had said that he was arrested for interrogation into a case filed by Advisor to Prime Minister on Accountability & Interior Shahzad Akbar for making controversial remarks against his beliefs.
