Another Arab country to normalize relations With Israel

After the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain is now establishing diplomatic ties with Israel on Friday, a move forged partly through shared fears of Iran, but one that threatens to leave the Palestinians further isolated.

A month ago, the United Arab Emirates agreed to normalise ties with Israel under a U.S.-brokered deal which is scheduled to be signed at a White House ceremony hosted by Trump on Tuesday (September 15).

The Israel-UAE ceremony will be attended by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Emirati Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al-Nahyan.

Netanyahu called next week’s meeting in Washington DC “a great historic moment of peace.
