ANF seizes 108 KGs of narcotics from car in Peshawar
PESHAWAR: Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) Peshawar carried out an Intelligence Based Operation near Mosque Pawaka, Tango Adda, Canal road in Peshawar and intercepted a Corolla car bearing registration number LE-11-4467, recovering 108 KGs of narcotics.
The accused, Farhad Khan, son of Najeem Khan, resident of Pawaka village in Peshawar was arrested. A detailed search of the car resulted into recovery of 90 × pkts of Charas (total weight 108 KGs) which were hidden in the trunk of said car.
Initial investigation of aforementioned accused disclosed information about another car Suzuki Mehran Regn # BHF 093 Sindh, parked outside his house from which again 14 x pkts of Opium with (total weight 16.800 KGs) were recovered from the trunk of said Suzuki car.
The confiscated narcotics will be transported to Lahore.
The case has been registered under CNS Act and further investigation is in process.
