Ali Zafar files plea to take custody of Meesha Shafi’s passport
Singer Ali Zafar filed a petition to take the passport of Meesha Shafi into judicial custody.
Ali Zafar’s claim for damages was heard before the Additional Sessions Judge, in which Meesha Shafi filed an application for leave of absence due to joint pain and requested to adjourn the hearing for cross-examination.
On the other hand, Ali Zafar filed an application to take the passport of Meesha Shafi into judicial custody and submit the summons for attendance.
It was argued in the petition that Meesha Shafi is deliberately trying to avoid court proceedings, Meesha Shafi had previously gone out without completing the cross-examination, she is still in Pakistan to attend the premiere of a film in which His brother has worked.
Ali Zafar’s lawyer expressed fear that Meesha will move abroad without completing the cross-examination and requested to take custody of the singer’s passport.
