Celebrated pop singer Ali Azmat becomes first Pakistani to reach North Cape (Norway) on motorbike, Dialogue Pakistan has learnt on Friday.
It has been more than a week since he embarked on a trip to Europe from London, the United Kingdom, on August 1. He aims to complete his 12,000 kilometers journey in 22 days. In a video, he said he will be travelling 400-500 km a day on an average and this could be extended up to 900 km.
“We have rented two beautiful bikes from London. One is Triumph Tiger and the other is BMW 1200 GS, which is my choice of course. We are gonna take these two motorcycles and ride through Europe and just rip the highways up,” he said before starting travelling his itinerary along with his two friends.
Ali Azmat is known for doing crazy things. He introduced pumped up high-voltage pop singing in the country.
He has been updating his fans since he ventured into this adventure ride. So far he has travelled through France, where he faced some harsh weather and (on some places) heavy traffic. Then, he proceeded to Germany, then Holland and then Copenhagen, Denmark. After that, he reached Oslo, where his bike broke down and he was helped by a truck driver. Now finally, he has reached North Cape. His journey goes on.
“I am the first Pakistani motorcyclist to reach North Cape, which is the northern most part of the world or what we call end of the world. Here, we are at the end of the world.”
“Well, we are three but the others haven’t made it yet. So, I am the first one. They were riding fast all the way but last 100 kms I just upped the game and here I am,” he said.
Next, he aims to hit Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Germany and Amsterdem by himself as his accomplices will be left behind.
The pop singer will rock the audience in London and Leeds on August 25 and 26 respectively, right after this bike tour ends.
