Aleem Khan Group refused to vote for PML-Q’s Pervez Elahi for Punjab Chief Minister

After the federation, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has also suffered a major setback in the Punjab government, Aleem Khan group refused to vote for Prime Minister Imran Khan’s nominee for Chief Minister Punjab Pervez Elahi.
A statement issued by Mian Khalid Mehmood, spokesperson of Aleem Khan Group, said that Aleem Khan Group has refused to vote for PML-Q as Chief Minister of Punjab.
Mehmood said that we cannot repeat the titles used by Imran Khan to call Pervez Elahi.
“For the first 4 years a dishonest and useless CM was imposed to Punjab, now he has nominated Pervez Elahi which is unacceptable.” Mehmood added.
On the other hand, the Tareen and Cheena groups of PTI have also convened a meeting to review the changing situations in Punjab.
A high level delegation of PML-Q had called on Prime Minister Imran Khan two days ago in which the Prime Minister had offered Pervez Elahi to be the Chief Minister in place of Usman Bazdar, which he accepted and announced his support for the government in the no-confidence motion.
