Alarming situation for Karachi: Corona positive case rate reaches 39%
ISLAMABAD: The rate of corona cases continues to rise in Pakistan, with the corona positive rate in Karachi reaching almost 39%.
Details were released regarding the rate of positive corona cases in different cities of Pakistan, sources said, adding that the highest daily rate of corona in the country was recorded in Karachi.
The Sindh Health Department said that the rate of positive cases of corona in Karachi was 38.79%, 7,099 tests were done in the city yesterday, out of which corona was confirmed in 2,754 persons while the rate of corona cases in Hyderabad was 13.98%.
Sources said that in 24 hours, the rate of corona was recorded at 8.86% in Islamabad and 7.60% in Rawalpindi.
According to sources, in 24 hours, the corona rate in Lahore was 12.87%, in Gujarat 1.19%, in Multan 2.58%, in Bahawalpur 1.29% and in Faisalabad 1.12%.
Similarly, the rate of Corona cases was 3.83% in Quetta, 7.24% in Peshawar, 1.87% in Mardan, 10% in Nowshera and 1.65% in Bannu while zero was recorded in Swat, Abbottabad, Swabi, Diamer and Skardu.
