The Supreme Court has given orders to demolish Aladdin shopping mall, Pavilion End Club to restore Aladdin Water Park.
The decision has been taken by chief justice Pakistan, Gulzar Ahmed after a case on shopping centre and club near Aladdin Water Park which was registered at the SC’s Karachi Registry.
However, he directed to pull down the Aladdin shopping mall and Pavilion End Club.
The court has sought a progress report on its judgement within two days. The Supreme Court also ordered demolishing all the illegal structures at Kashmir Road.
Earlier, in May, the Auqaf department has demolished walls of veteran politician Javed Hashmi’s house along a marriage hall in Multan.
In a tweet, Javed Hashmi said that police had besieged his houses and started tearing them down. They did not tell any reason for that, he claimed. He also said that he was going to surrender himself before police.
