Some days ago, a student tried to commit suicide in the premises of Aga Khan College, Karimabad, Karachi.
On social media’s private group, an unidentified person revealed that a female student allegedly tried to commit suicide due to the pressure of examinations.
Explain the incident, the person said that the college was conducting online classes due to covid-19 but the college administration announced on campus examination just three days prior to exams.
While taking the exam, the girl was caught cheating and however, the college’s principal scolded her harshly and she was directed to discontinue attempting the exam on which she jumped from the first floor of college’s building.
Moreover, a male teacher stated that she didnt try to commit suicide it happened due to dehydration. Here, the question arises is “how dehydration can let a person jump from first floor?”.
Dialogue Pakistan reached out to Aga Khan College, Karimabad, they opted not to speak regarding the incident as they are not allowed to talk to media agencies.
They further stated “AKHSS is part of AKESP and AKESP is a part of AKDN, If AKDN issues a press release regarding the incident it would be emailed directly to the editor-in-chief.”
