AIG police advices Karachiites to not resist during robbery

Additional Inspector-General (AIG) Karachi police Javed Alam Odho has advised the citizens of Karachi to not resist during robbery in order to avoid any uncertain situation.
He was giving briefing on the case related to the killing of 21-year-old Bilal Nasir who was shot dead by robbers over resistance near University road area of Karachi.
AIG informed that the team of SSP East has arrested 16-year-old suspect named Nazimuddin, who is an Afghan national, from the Jamali Goth area through CCTV footages and other evidences.
He added the police have started search operations to arrest the other suspect after investigating his relatives.
“After the arrest of other suspect, the trust of the grieving family will be restored,” he said.
Odho stressed to bring illegal migrated Afghans in Karachi under the law.
The case:
Bilal Nasir, an engineering student, was killed by merciless robbers after he refused to give his valuables to the street criminals near University road area of Karachi.
Police Surgeon Dr Summaiya Syed said that the deceased was hit by three bullets on the chest, neck and leg.
Zubair Nawaz, Station House Officer (SHO) said that some students of the NED University were drinking tea when two armed suspects snatched their mobile phone.
However, Bilal caught one of the suspects but the suspect’s accomplice who was standing at some distance opened fire on the victim boy.
The victim was a final-year student of petroleum engineering at NED university of Engineering and Technology.
