Aftermath of the earthquake in Turkey; at least 20 died as buildings collapse

At least 20 people died and more than 600 people got injured in eastern Turkey after an earthquake jolted region on Friday evening.

According to Turkist Interior Minister Sulyman Soylu, the 6.7 magnitude quake struck near Sivrice’s town, in eastern Elazig province, collapsing at least 10 building.

As per details given by the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), thirteen people were killed in Elazig province, four in Malatya, one in Diyarbakir and one in another area.
