DERA ISMAIL KHAN: After dismissal of Prof Dr Salahuddin, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman has issued orders to sack four other officials of the Gomal University in Dera Ismail Khan over involvement in alleged sexual harassment.
The decision has been taken on recommendation of the Sexual Harassment and Financial Irregularities Committee of the university. Those alleged of harassing female students include Prof Dr Bakhtiar Khan, Assistant Prof Imran Qureshi, Game Supervisor Hikmatullah and Laboratory Attendant Hafizullah.
A notification about rustication of Director Administration Dilnawaz Khan was already issued. While, former chairman Islamiyat department Dr Salahuddin was asked to submit his resignation after a private television aired a report about his involvement in sexual harassment of female students of the university.

The governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa warned all the universities to set their system. “Even if we have to fire someone from his job or send to prison, it will not bother us, but we cannot compromise on future of students at any cost,” he said.
Shah Farman said those involved in financial irregularities or sexual harassment would not be spared.
