After planting 10 billion trees, Pakistan will change, says PM Imran Khan
The Prime Minister says that after planting 10 billion trees, the country will change.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has inaugurated a tree planting campaign on the International Day of Scouts. 7.5 lacs Scouts from across the country will participate in the campaign. 1.4 billion Trees have been planted under the Ten Billion Tree Tsunami Campaign.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony, the Prime Minister said that our main target is to plant 10 billion trees. Unfortunately, the forests planted by the British were also destroyed.
He said that they are protecting the future generations by planting trees.
Prime Minister Imran Khan added that all kinds of plants and fruits can grow in Pakistan, today is the day to protect the future of the youth, and everyone has to take the responsibility of planting trees together.
He concluded, the country is at risk from climate change every family should take responsibility for planting at least five trees.
