After being stopped at Wagah, Siddhu has arrived from Kartarpur

Despite stopped from entering via the Attari-Wagah border, Navjot Singh Siddu has arrived from Kartarpur.
Indian cricketer turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu was stopped from entering Pakistan through the Attari-Wagah border despite the go-ahead, sources say.
He has now entered from the Kartarpur Corridor.
The cricketer was given a five-day visa, according to sources.
The BJP-Government had told the Congress Lawmaker on Friday that he had been granted permission to travel to Pakistan via Wagah after he wrote a third letter to the Indian foreign Ministry on Thursday asking to travel to Pakistan.
The Foreign Office had confirmed that it had issued a visa to Navjot Singh Siddhu for the Kartarpur Corridor inauguration.
“Pakistan has issued visa to Indian politician Navjot Singh Siddhu for his visit to holy shrine of Baba Guru Nanak,” Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal said during his weekly briefing.
