After 17 years, England to visit Pakistan for T20s

England will tour Pakistan in September for the first time in 17 years to play seven Twenty20, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Tuesday, while they will go against the Men In Green in three Test matches in December.
The series of 7, T20 matches between the two teams will be played from September 20 to October 2 in Karachi and Lahore.
The first four matches of the series will be played at the National Stadium Karachi. These matches will be played on September 20, 22, 23 and 25 while the remaining three matches will be played on September 28, 30 and October 2 at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
All matches will start at 7:30 pm Pakistan time.
After the T20 series, the two sides will meet again in December to play a 3-Test match series.
“We demonstrated our event planning and operational skills in the highly successful series against Australia in March/April and I am confident we will be able to replicate these when England visit us for the first time since 2005,” Zakir Khan, PCB Director of International Cricket, said.
