Afghan vice president escapes bomb attack

KABUL: Afghan Vice President, Amrullah Saleh narrowly escaped when a bomb blast targeted his convoy in Kabul, Afghanistan, on Wednesday.

According to Afghan Interior Ministry spokesman, initial reports showed that two persons were also killed while twelve others were injured in the blast.

The head of Afghan vice president’s media office said that the terrorist attack had failed and Amrullah Saleh was safe and fine. 

On September 8, seven militants and three policemen were killed in the fire exchange in Kunduz province of Afghanistan.

According to the district governor Nasrudin Nazari, the militants had launched a massive offensive  to overrun the district headquarters Dasht-e-Archi.
