ISLAMABAD: Afghan President Ashraf Ghani Thursday arrived on a two-day visit to Pakistan on the invitation of Prime Minister Imran Khan to fortify the bilateral relations between the neighboring countries.
The Afghan president is accompanied by a high level delegation comprising ministers, advisors, senior officials and businessmen.
He pushed the agenda of Afghanistan peace process, border security situation and bilateral trade issues during meetings here.
Here are glimpses of Ashraf Ghani and the entourage’s visit:









Ashraf Ghani will visit Lahore today (Friday). Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar will receive him at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
He will hold one-on-one meetings with the governor and chief minister of Punjab. He will also hold a meeting with leading traders and entrepreneurs at the Governor House. The Afghan president will also visit Badshahi Mosque and Shahi Qila.
