Pakistan International Airlines’ vigilance team had arrested an Afghan national while traveling to Canada on fake passport from Islamabad airport on Thursday.
According to details, the Afghan national was identified as Mirzada who was trying to travel to Canada via PIA’s flight no PK-781. The vigilance team asked him to show his documents upon doubts that he might be traveling with fake documents.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials proved that the travel documents provided by Mirzada were fake. For further investigation, he was handed over to FIA’s immigration wing.
Previously, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had deported Afghan national for travelling on a fake passport from Germany to Pakistan.
