ISLAMABAD: Advocate Ghulam Sajjad Gopang has offered ASI Asghar Ali Mugheri and other police officials of Sindh his service free of cost for fighting their cases against influential people.
The advocate said he was going to file a petition at the Supreme Court against the influential persons who tortured Asghar Mugheri for arresting the suspects who had links with the Pakistan Peoples Party leader.
Sajjad Gopang said this was not the first case of its kind but other police officials had also contacted him and told him that there were numerous other similar cases of assault on police officials by influential people of Sindh.
He hoped that the Supreme Court will announce a historic verdict in the case.
