Adnan Siddiqui finds ‘remix’ of national anthem disrespectful

Adnan Siddiqui is not pleased with the ‘remix’ version of the national anthem performed by Wahab Bugti and Shehzad Roy at LSA.
At the 21st edition of the Lux Style Awards, singer Shehzad Roy and Coke Studio’s famed Wahab Bugti performed the new and ‘remix’ version of the national anthem of Pakistan.
Adnan Siddiqui didn’t like this version at all and In fact, he finds it “disrespectful”. Taking to Instagram, he wrote, “is it appropriate to take creative liberties” with our national anthem that was “composed to instil patriotism”.
While asking a question, he further wrote, “Does our Constitution permit anyone to improvise/remix the Tarana in the guise of creativity?”
“It’s always played in the original rendition at matches, tournaments, other state functions. At a famous award show, artists however, fiddle with the National symbol and possibly get away with it too. Personally, I find ‘remix’ of the Tarana disrespectful”, Adnan concluded.
