The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide Pakistan with $305 million to help combat the coronavirus pandemic.
The funds will be used to include protective clothing and supplies, including the establishment of health centers, health-care workers training, and clean water.
As per details, a Concept Clearance Committee meeting was held at the Ministry of that the Deputy Chairman Planning Commission and Country Director ADB were also a part of.
ADB will have $200 million to support the needy while the remaining funds will be made available for emergency preparedness. The money is used for the purchase of protective clothing and supplies as well as health centers, medical workers, and safe water supply.
The Deputy Chairman Planning said they are working to provide relief to people directly affected by the pandemic.
