LAHORE: Actress Uzma Khan on Thursday filed a complaint against two women whom she claimed were the daughters of business tycoon Malik Riaz. She blamed that they assaulted and harassed her after breaking into her house with armed gunmen.
“This is my official statement – Remember your gunmen pointed their guns towards two orphans and sexually harassed. We might be weak but now we have faith in Allah and people of Pakistan. I request you to share my statement and standby me in my difficult times,” Uzma Khan wrote in a tweet after a video, in which she and her sister could be seen looking with distraught, went viral on social media.
She blamed that Amber Malik and Pashmina Malik stormed into her house with 12 gunmen. “I feel I have nothing to lose now and I have decided to fight the strongest people of Pakistan.”
On the flip side, Malik Riaz has condemned the reports of the incident associating the culprit with him. He said Usman, the key accused, was not his nephew.
“I categorically rebut this malicious propaganda associating me with a viral video.Usman is not my nephew. I’m appalled at such below the belt attempt to malign me for something I’m not involved in any capacity,” he said.
He warned that he would file defamation cases against anyone who tried to implicate him wrongfully for such disgraceful incidents.
The videos that have surfaced on social media show that the woman harassing the actress and her sister also tries to set them on fire by putting kerosene oil on them. She uses abusive language and asks the gunmen to catch the women.
