Actor Salman Khan, his Father receive threat letter

Bollywood Actor Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan have received an anonymous letter threatening to kill them, following which an FIR was registered by Police, official said.

According to Indian media reports, police said that a threatening letter addressed to Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan was found near Bandra Band Stand in Mumbai on Sunday.

A threatening letter to Salim Khan’s was found by security guard on a bench around 8 am on Sunday while Salim Khan was resting after daily exercise.

However, Bandra police have registered an FIR against unknown persons.

Earlier, Salman Khan’s security was beefed up after the recent assassination of India’s leading Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

Notably, Lawrence Bishnoi, the gang leader who claimed responsibility for the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, had threatened to kill Salman Khan a few years back.

Indian media reports are claiming that after the murder of Sidhu Moosewala, it is feared that now Salman Khan is the target of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, therefore the security of the actor has been tightened.
