US: The social media accounts of the most famous people in America have been hacked. These accounts were linked to the microblogging site Twitter.

According to the Houston Tribune, the hacked accounts include key figures, including Bill Gates, Alan Musk, Jeff Bezos, former President Obama, and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, whose accounts have been hacked.

According to US intelligence agencies, the hacking appears to have been carried out to forge electronic currency bitcoins.

Such tweets were made from the Twitter accounts of the most important business and political figures of America in which it was promised that whoever sends money through bitcoin within 30 minutes, it will be doubled.

Not only important personalities but also from different companies like Uber and Apple’s Twitter accounts. Like the accounts of other important personalities were hacked. They include Warren Buffett, rapper Kanye West and former New York Governor Michael Bloomberg.

Twitter says it is investigating the matter, but the hacking has reduced the company’s shares by 2.3 percent.
