The COVID-19 positivity ratio in Karachi has been recorded more than 26 percent, on Tuesday (today).
Murad Ali Shah, on Tuesday chaired COVID Task Force meeting in order to discuss the covid-19 situation in Pakistan and its cities.
The meeting was attended by provincial government officials, ministers, Rangers, and other concerned authorities.
Moreover, amid the meeting, Secretary Health Kazim Jatoi said that the positivity percentage in Karachi was recorded at 20.72 percent on July 24. However, it hopped to 24.82 percent on July 25.
He further briefed that within two days the positivity ratio has been measured at 26.32% in Karachi.
Today, Pakistan reported 3,262 positive cases of covid-19 with 39 deaths in the past 24 hours, according to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).
Total 49,412 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours as the positivity percentage was measured at 6.6%.
