 Abida Parveen’s new song ‘prem piyala’ is winning people’s heart

Bazm e Rang, an online song series directed and produced by legendary Abida Parveen’s son Sarang Latif that feature his mother as the main artist.

The fifth kalam titled “prem piyala” is already making rounds on internet after its first song featuring Atif Aslam paradari was released in June. All the lyrics of the compositions are taken from the oldest sufi poets such as , Hazrat Bedam Shah Warsi RA, Hazrat Baba Bulleh Shah R.A, Hazrat Shah Niaz Barelvi R.A, Hazrat Amir Khusro R.A, Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai R.A.

In an interview, Sarang told that he has been working for Bazm e Rang from the last five to six years  but just couldn’t put together all the pieces of the puzzle until now. The first chapter of the song series comprises 10 songs and singers like Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Waqar Ehsan, Jabir Abbas, Khurram Waqar, Qasim Azhar, and the band Khamaaj will be seen singing along with Abida Parveen.

A new song of the series ‘prem piyala’, which was originally written by Hazrat Sachhal Sarmast (RA) and now sung and composed by legendary Abida Parveen herself featuring Jabbar Abbas is winning people’s heart through its soulful composition. The song’s tune and lyrics with the magical voice of Abida jee will certainly take you on a religious journey.
