13-year-old boy who works day and night to support his family

Abdul Waris is a 13 years old boy who works diligently to fulfil the financial needs of his family.

The eldest among 5 siblings, Waris, sells homemade eatables cooked by his mother. It has been two months since Waris started to retail the food. Initially, he used to sell tea.

His scrumptious menu includes, donuts, pizza bites and gulab jamuns.

He sells the items near Peshwari soup located at Paposh area in Karachi, on a bicycle which he bought from scrap and later upgraded it.

According to Abdul Waris, he started to work as his parents’ disability did not allow them to function physically and make both ends meet by themselves.

Moreover, Waris has also been working at a cloth store since six years where he works from 11 am to 8 pm. Whereas, at around 9 pm he goes to sell the food items.

Abdul Waris aims to provide a better life style to his family.
