KARACHI: Well-known TV host and Member of National Assembly Dr. Amir Liaquat Hussain and his wife Syeda Tuba have contracted Coronavirus.

Confirming on the social networking website Twitter, Dr. Amir Liaquat Hussain said that my wife and I have tested positive for corona, after which we have quarantined ourselves.

He has appealed to his fans to remember him in their prayers.

It may be mentioned that during the last 24 hours, 1,302 new cases of Corona were recorded across the country, after which the number of active cases has increased to 15,317 while the total number of cases has increased to 338,875.

In the last 24 hours, 26 more people lost their lives, bringing the total number of deaths to 6,893.

So far, 316,665 people have recovered from Corona, and the number of Corona patients in Sindh was 147,787, in Punjab 15,535, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 40,022, in Balochistan 16,000, in Azad Kashmir 4,491, in Gilgit-Baltistan 4,320 and in Islamabad 20,694.
