Aamir Khan to shoot remake of ‘Forrest Gump’ in Turkey

Bollywood film star Aamir Khan has set his foot in Turkey to restart shooting of his film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ – an official remake of Tom Hanks starrer ‘Forrest Gump’, as India has not yet lifted ban on shooting movies because of pandemic situation.
The shoot is going to resume after more than five months since March this year. ‘Bebo’ Kareena Kapoor is also starring in the lead role.
Half of the film has already been shot in Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Kolkata, Chandigarh and Kerala, until Feb 12, 2020.
Aamir Khan had made announcement about the film on his last birthday in 2019, which was slated to release on Christmas 2020. He has come to Turkey on initiation of the Culture and Tourism Ministry to promote his flick Superstar (2017).

The movie Forrest Gump is an American comedy-drama based on the 1986 novel by Winston Groom. The story tells the life of Gump who witnesses historical events of the United States in 20th century.
