A train derailed from the track, 8 coal carrier bogies impacted

As per the media reports, eight bogies of a train carrying coal derailed from the track on Wednesday (today). The incident happened today at the Pipilian railway station. The train was carrying coal from Karachi to Daud Khel.
Sources from the railway told that due to the decaying condition of the railway track, the incident happened.
Orders to restore the track completely at the earliest have been given to the department. It will take around 12 hours for the complete repairing and restoring of the track, the official statement read.
Both sides of the track have been shut down for the railway traffic as the repair works continue. Kundian junction department has been alerted about the situation and they have sent cranes to move the eight derailed bogies of the train.
Earlier in June, Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed sorrow over the horrific train accident in Ghotki which left 36 passengers dead and 40 others injured.
In a statement, PM Imran Khan asked the Minister for Railways to reach the site of the accident and ensure medical assistance to the injured and support for families of the dead.
He also ordered a comprehensive investigation into railway safety fault lines.
The accident took place when two trains collided with each other near Ghotki district around 3:45 am.
According to Railways officials, Sir Syed Express collided with the Millat Express between Raiti and Obaro Railway stations and 14 bogies derailed.
The police sources said four bogies of Millat Express were completely destroyed in the accident and the death toll was feared to rise.
