A six-storey building collapses in Ranchorline, Karachi

KARACHI: On Monday afternoon, a six-storey building collapsed in Ranchorline’s Somragali.

According to sources, there were cracks found in the building and recently, the building tilted aside.

At this point, the residents of the building were instructed to move out of their house immediately after which the building collapsed completely.

As per details, the residents of the building were evacuated before the building fell and no casualties were reported. Although, people’s lives are safe, but their financial loss is substantial.

According to the police, the building had 25 flats and it was established almost 15 years ago.

The other buildings located near are slightly damaged because of the incident, whereas the vehicles parked near the collapsed building are damaged.

Rangers and police came instantly just after the incident occurred.
