According to details, a meeting of the federal cabinet is underway under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan, in which a 13-point agenda including economic and political situation is being considered.
The Cabinet will be briefed on economic growth and economic indicators and a progress report on institutional reforms will be presented to the Cabinet.
The Cabinet will approve the preparation and issuance of the official map of Pakistan, the appointment of the Deputy Governor SBP Pakistan while the briefing on the performance of the National Information Technology Board is part of the agenda.
The meeting will also brief the Cabinet on the payment of dues of media houses and brief the Cabinet on gas distribution projects while the reconstitution of the board of Korangi Fisheries Harbor Authority is on the agenda.
In Islamabad, a bill will be introduced to protect domestic workers, while the Ministry of IT is likely to approve the appointment of a USF company CEO and appoint a chairman of the Council of Research in Water Resources.
The Cabinet will approve the charter of Pakistan Global Institute Rawat while PIA KRPT, Aerial Work and Charter are part of the license renewal agenda.
