A four-and-a-half-year-old boy contracted polio in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: A four-and-a-half-year-old boy has contracted polio in the provincial capital according to Emergency Operations Center.
This is the first case of polio in Peshawar in four years. The last case of polio in the shower was reported in 2016, EOC.
The new polio case has come to light in Safid Dheri area of Peshawar.
Samples of infected children were sent to the laboratory for listing on July 13, Polio Emergency Operations Center
