Saudi authorities have detained 936 people found during the Hajj in forbidden holy sites.

Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Public Security has said that 936 unauthorized people were detained during the hajj without permission.

A spokesman for the Hajj security forces said necessary action had been taken against the detainees and fines had been imposed.

He instructed that no one except the pilgrims should come to the forbidden places, as this would affect the security arrangements made for coronavirus.
