81 Pakistani teachers are included in world ranking of best researchers

Pakistan’s 81 teachers are also included in the global ranking of the world’s best researchers.
Fifteen teachers from Punjab University and Government College University in Lahore have also received the award. One hundred and sixty thousand researchers from all fields have been included in the Stanford University of California’s global research rankings.
Prof. Dr. Mujahid Abbas, Chairperson, Department of Mathematics, Government College University, Lahore, Prof. Rafi and Dr. Abdul Sattar Nizami of the Sustainable Development Study Center are among the world’s top 2% researchers.
Dr. Abdul Sattar Nizami of GC University Lahore while talking to Hum News said that the list is prepared every three years. “I am happy that my research is being read in the world.”
According to GCU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Asghar Zaidi, the award encouraged teachers and proved that quality research is being done in Pakistani universities.
According to the spokesperson of Punjab University, the list of Stanford University is based on two criteria. One examined the research papers of the teachers of the last 25 years, including three teachers of the University of Punjab. The one-year research performance includes nine teachers.
