78 health department workers sacked due to illegal appointments

KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) investigation led to dismissal of 78 employees of the Sindh health department as district health officer hired them in 2013 without notifying the health secretary.

The illegitimate recruitment was made on posts from Grade 1 to 9, according to the sources. A case has been filed in the accountability court against the DHO.
