75-year-old Chartered Accountant protests against garbage in Clifton

KARACHI: A 75-year-old Chartered Accountant citizen of Karachi has staged protest against piles of garbage near Clifton beach beside Khayaban-e-Saadi street in Karachi.

The old citizen, Abdul Hameed Dagia has complained that overflowing sewerage and pools of stagnant water were converting beach into a hazardous spot.

He has requested the chairman DMC South and public representatives of the area for help in cleaning the area.

Dagia said the Sindh government was getting billions of rupee funds but those were not being spent for development of the megalopolis.
