7 killed as deadly blast hits Palestine solidarity rally in Chaman
Chaman, Balochistan: At least seven people were killed while a dozen were injured after a bomb exploded near Palestine solidarity rally organised by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Nazariyati).
According to the initial reports, Ameer Abdul Qadir Luni, the leader of JUI-N, was the target of the blast as an IED was planted near his car who was severely injured in the attack.
However, the explosion took place after the JUI-N’s rally.
Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has condemned the terror attack in Chaman. “Terrorists will not be spared,” the CM said while ordering all necessary arrangements for those who have been injured.
According to the sources, an emergency has been declared in Quetta’s civil hospital.
