ISLAMABAD: Sixth consignment consisting 102 tons of donated items from the Chinese Government reached Islamabad on Tuesday.
According to the spokesperson of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), these items include 150, 000 N-95 masks, 1.5 million medical masks, 150, 000 protective glasses and 150, 000 surgical gowns.
Chairman NDMA Lt Gen Muhammad Afzal received the consignment from the Chinese Ambassador at Islamabad Airport.

Speaking on the occasion, the chairman NDMA thanked the Chinese government and acknowledged its cooperation and assistance.
He said 250 ventilators had so far been provided to provinces and 600 were available in warehouses. He said the NDMA had also given orders for 2, 000 Oxygen beds.
