ISLAMABAD: At least 6,604 new Coronavirus cases have surfaced in the country over the last twenty four hours, taking the total tally to 171,666.
These include 64,216 in Punjab, 65,163 in Sindh, 20,790 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 9,162 in Balochistan, 10,279 in Islamabad, 1,253 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 803 in Azad Kashmir.
The death toll from the virus stands at 3,382 with 153 deaths reported over the last twenty-four hours. 31,681 Corona tests were carried out during this period.

63,504 patients have so far recovered from the disease. 3,515 people are in critical condition.
On June 19, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on National Health Services Dr. Zafar Mirza had said welfare of the frontline health workers against COVID-19 was the top priority of the government.
He had said the government had established an integrated complaint management system to address complaints of the frontline health workers.
He had said they could register their complaints at 1166 or WhatsApp number 00923001111166. He had said their complaints would be addressed on priority basis.
The special assistant had said a comprehensive package had already been announced for the health workers fighting against coronavirus pandemic.
