6.4 magnitude earthquake hits cities of Pakistan
A powerful earthquake of 6.4 magnitude hit various cities of Pakistan on Friday night.
According to the details, the tremors of earthquake were felt in Islamabad Lahore, Peshawar, Murree, Swat, Rawalpindi, Multan, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Gujranwala and other cities of the country.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department revealed the earthquake had depth of 80 kilometers and its epicenter was in Tajikistan.
Moreover, the earth quake originated at 22:02 PST.
“We were in contact with all the provinces and monitoring the post-quake situation across the country. No loss of life had been reported so far,” said the spokesperson of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
