KARACHI: Saad Aziz and others have been sentenced to jail for 50 years by an anti-terrorism court in Karachi, on the accusation of killing a Pakistan Navy Officer and a police constable.
The Pakistan Navy Captain Nadeem Ahmed and his wife, while they were travelling in their car, were attacked by two men on motorbikes.
Ahmed’s wife suffered serious injuries. Whereas, he died on the spot.
Moreover, a case had been lodged against Aziz and Tahir Hussain Minhaj for assaulting the Pakistan Navy Captain Nadeem Ahmed and his wife.
On 16 October 2014, the terrorists killed a police constable, Waqar Hashim in New Karachi.
Aziz has also been accused of murdering human rights activist, Sabeen Mahmud. Whereas, he was granted death penalty by a military court for targeting Ismaili community bus and killing 48 Ismailis.
