Medical exams postponed amid surge in new COVID-19 cases

Around 50 deaths and 2,482 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours, National Command and Operation Center reported.

In the wake of worsening pandemic situation, the Ministry of National Health Service directed medical universities across the country to postpone all professional examinations scheduled for the current month

In NHS meeting chaired by secretary Aamir Ashraf Khawaja it was decided the scheduled examination would be now conducted after 1st February.

Moreover, some of the universities had already announced the examination dates and demanding that examination would be held on the announced dates without any changes. However, the students were not satisfied with the decision and ran a campaign on social media.
