Two out of 40 officials of PTI who tested positive for Corona Virus, died

Majority of the 40 lawmakers and members of PTI have been tested positive for Covid-19 while two have died since February.
Mostly those who are infected are members of the provincial assemblies (MPAs)of PTI. 15 members of the national assembly (MNAs) are also infected by the virus. A senator from the party has also been infected. Also infected members of the political party also include Nadeem Afzal Chan and Abrar ul Haq.

Interestingly, Dr Zafar Mirza, the minister of state for health, and the most senior health official in Pakistan overlooking the development of corona virus is the recent official who contracted the virus.
Shaheen Raza and Jamshed Uddin Kakakhel, members of the provincial assemblies from PTI have died due to the disease. Till date, the corona virus tally in Pakistan has reached a total of 233,646 cases of the virus and 4818 confirmed deaths.
