A 4-year-old girl was rescued after surviving for 91 hours under the rubble caused by the powerful 7.0 magnitude earthquake that hit Izmir city of Turkey on Oct 30.
The girl was recovered by the rescue workers amid applause of spectators. She was shifted to a hospital on an ambulance for medical treatment. The girl is reportedly doing fine and is in stable condition.
The death toll from the earthquake has risen to 98, as rescue teams are continuing to search for survivors of the quake. According to Turkey’s disaster and emergency authority, over one thousand people were injured in the quake.
