4.8 magnitude earthquake hits Balochistan’s Khuzdar
KHUZDAR: A 4.8 magnitude earthquake jolted Balochistan’s Khuzdar at 8:58 am, on early Friday.
As per details, the epicentre of the earthquake was 30 kilometers southwest of Khuzdar at a depth of 15 kilometres inside the land.
Tremors were felt in nearby areas and the city. However, no casualties or damages have been reported so far.
Tremors were being felt from the last three days in multiple parts of Balochistan.
Moreover, tremors were felt in Mastung, Pishin, Chaman, Quetta, Makran, Noshki and Machh on Thursday.
Earlier, in April, an earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter Scale jolted Swat, Mingora and its suburban areas.
People after feeling tremors came out of their homes in panic reciting verses from the Holy Quran. No loss of life and property happened due to the earthquake.
