 25-year-old woman gives birth to sextuplets in Karachi

A 25-year-old Hina Nazim, gave birth to sextuplets (six babies at a time) in Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) in Karachi. Unfortunately, one of the babies could not survive, doctors said.

Dr. Ayesha Waris of Jinnah Hospital’s Obstetrics and Gynecology Ward said that, last night the woman gave birth to sextuplets, out of which one child was stillborn and five children are alive

The woman is already a mother of a child, Dr Waris said.

“Babies were delivered normally,” the doctor added.

The children were shifted to the National Institute of Children’s Health, where the children were placed in incubators.

Hina Nazim is very happy for the birth of 6 children together, she has also thanked the staff of JPMC.
