25 luxury cars, seized in money laundering case, auctioned in Switzerland

A collection of 25 luxury cars confiscated from Equatorial Guinea’s vice president during a money-laundering investigation in Geneva have been sold for 27 million Swiss franc (CHF) ($27.2 million) last week.
The luxury vehicles included seven Ferraris, three Lamborghinis, five Bentleys, a Maserati and a McLaren.
2014 Lamborghini Veneno was sold for the highest price, CHF8.28 million. 2015 Koenigsegg One was the second most expensive sale that fetched CHF4.6 million.
The gains received through the auction will be given to a charity in Equatorial Guinea.
