Israeli military said it targeted a number of Hamas positions in Gaza in retaliation of rocket attacks carried out by latter.
The UN Security Council held a closed door meeting to address the unrest in Jerusalem. Meanwhile, world leaders and human rights groups have expressed their concerns related to the ongoing violence.
